Description: Beryl, var. Morganite on quartz and feldspar Pala Chief Mine, San Diego about 30 cm across a recently mined morganite from the famous Pala district, seen in Bill Larson's room (Pala International). The piece was recovered by Jeff Swanger and crew, who have been working the nearby Oceanview mine in recent years.
