Description: Stibnite on Baryte Deep Post Mine, Lynn District North of Carlin, Eureka County, Nevada, USA 70 x 57 x 45 mm Bright, silvery-grey Stibnite crystals to 11 mm, forming radiating sprays, are perched on very pale yellow Baryte crystals to 15 mm across, ranging from block to tabular in habit. Only a few spots of trivial bruising can be seen with a loupe on a few Barytes. This is one of only a few undamaged specimens from a zone consisting of a few small pockets. Casey acquired three specimens in early January 2005 in trade with a geologist working at the mine, and this is the only one with good proportions of both Baryte and Stibnite.
