Description: Stilbite Teigarhorn, Berufjordur, Suour-Mulasysla, Iceland 5.8 x 9.4 cm This specimen has an interesting history. It was collected by Swedish geologist Carl Willhelm Paijkull during his expedition to Iceland and sold to the Natural History Museum in Stockholm around 1866. I often wonder where else it has resided until now.
