Description: Quartz casts after calcite Droujba Mine, Laki District, Plovdiv Oblast, Bulgaria 7.1 x 10.0 cm. Scalenohedral calcite crystals to 3.5 cm. epimorphed by quartz. The calcite has been completely dissolved away leaving thin hollow shells.
