Description: Melanterite Filón Norte, Tharsis, Alosno, Huelva, Spain The formation of beautiful melanterite in Filon Norte during cold days soon after raining, is an interesting phenomenon. Occasionally, the crystals are up to 5-10 cm., covering dozens of square meters of soil under the massive pyrite stockpiles.
