Description: Calcite Pachapaqui, Bolognesi Prov., Ancash Dept. Peru 6.1 x 7.6 cm. Pale pink scalenohedral calcite crystals associated with small crystals of pyrite and quartz. Like many manganoan calcites, this piece exhibits bright red fluorescence under SW UV.
