Description: Beryl Ben a' Bhuird, Cairngorm Mountains, Grampian Region, Scotland, UK 14mm x 8mm x 7mm Same specimen as above showing the termination in more detail. I did have one of these pale yellow beryls cut one time, after I first came across them in the mid 1990's. The gems were small but rather beautiful, and not far off a true heliodor for colour. Unfortunately the one I kept I lost during a house move ten years ago -_- I think I've got a slide photo of it somewhere, I'll try to find it and scan it.
