Description: Baryte Shirley Basin, near Casper, Carbon Co., Wyoming 5 x 5 x 3.5 & 5 x 4 x 3 cm Pair of Baryte blades self collected in the Shirley Basin area in central Wyoming. The Baryte blades can be found in small pockets along high cliffs of consolidated volcanic ash. I spent many weekends searching for these and only found one pocket in miles of cliff faces that were searched.
