Description: Even this marmot looks disgusted. I photographed this 'round the back of the Courvercle Hut, it was squatting on the ashes-pile eating some bits of onion that someone had thrown there. Kind of ironic that in the previous two weeks ('doing' the Tour du Mont-Blanc) I never got anything like this close to a marmot. Now here is one, large as life and less than two metres away, sitting on a rubbish heap.
