Description: Aegirine section: 5 x 5 cm (entire piece: 13,5 x 9 x 3,5 cm - visible in Spanish FMF) Being thin needles the green colour is clearly perceived, sometime Aegirine looks black – but strike color will always be green. This is the typical pyroxene of many different kind of alkaline rocks.
