Description: Calcite Trepca complex, Kosovska Mitrovica, Kosovo Several intergrown rhombs of light tan calcite partially covered with a second generation of colorless calcite and minor quartz. Mined in 2012. These were originally thought to be dolomite, but subsequent analysis at the Carnegie Museum indicated that they were calcite.
