Description: Ben Loyal, Sutherland, Scotland At the foot of the mountain the angle changes abruptly. Looking south towards the woods where I was attacked by 'deer flies' last time I was here. There is a belt of lovely silver birch trees along the lower slopes of the mountain, mainly on the west side.
