Locality: Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan
Dimensions: 9,0 x 5,0 x 5,0 cm
Description: Main crystal size: 4,0 cm
Well formed and double terminated, opaque, brown crystal (probably twinned?) freed from its marble gangue, with some traces of lazurite on the sides. The chemical nature of the crystal was established by Raman spectroscopy.
