Mineral: Rhodochrosite with Fluorite
Locality: Lamo-Longxianggai, Dachang District, Nandan, Hechi Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China
Dimensions: 43 x 41 x 38 mm

Description: Several translucent, near cherry-red rhombs of Rhodochrosite to 16 x 12 x 11 mm, partly coated with small, white Calcite crystals, are accented with glassy, purple Fluorite cubes to 8 mm and small, brassy crystals of Chalcopyrite. This is a top-notch specimen, with near Sweet Home Mine color, and no damage. Found June 1999.
