Description: Massive rhodochrosite with a polished surface on one side. The face is dotted with small cavities that are filled with sharp rhombs of rhodchrosite. The Emma and Travona mines were both originally staked as silver claims, but became more important as prolific producers of massive rhodochrosite that was processed for manganese.
