Locality: Ilmen Natural Reserve, Ilmenskie Mountains, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Ural Federal District, Russia
Dimensions: 55 x 45 x 40 mm

Description: Fine, sharp hexagonal Corundum ( v. Sapphire ) crystal with classic blue color is nicely perched atop contrasting white matrix. The Corundum is large at 40 x 32 mm, and thick at over 10 mm, with well-developed triangular growth lines in its face. It is in excellent condition.
