Mineral: Dioptase with Fornacite
Locality: Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire)

Description: Main crystal size: 3,0 cm
Ntola (?), Congo
Buckle of intact crystals in the form of an arch with two small areas of attachment (where the specimen had developed). The crystals are sprinkled on a face of spherules of brownish-green fornacite , and some spherules are even included in the dioptase crystals and can be made out thanks to transparency under strong light.
