Description: Main crystal size: 13,4 cm Large green crystal with a square section and pointed termination developed on a micro-crystallized mass of vesuvianite. The crystal has been neatly glued back in 2 places. All the samples of this discovery have been more or less repaired, because their crystals were fractured by tectonic movements due to the narrowness of the pocket in which they formed. In addition, most of the broken surfaces show signs of later recrystallization, growth or dissolution. This is why most of the broken sections do not fit together well and require added resin, which does not seem to be the case for this specimen. Mim number 1319 Photographer: Augustin de Valence (Ainu)
