Description: Main crystal size: 2,5 cm Group of green translucent crystals with crimson terminations. The crystals are very brilliant and consist of a variety of vesuvianite rich in boron and colored crimson by manganese. The color transition from the saturated crimson of the terminations to the light green of the prisms' body is striking. A lot of old recrystallized breakage here and there, as is often the case in this mine. Mim number 1318 Photographer: Augustin de Valence (Ainu)
