Mineral: Halite, Sylvite
Locality: Kerr McGee Mine, Carlsbad Potash District, Eddy County, New Mexico, USA
Dimensions: 7.1 cm

Description: A halite stalactite found in a different area of the mine that exhibits a faden-like growth through the stacks of individual crystals. There are a few small sylvite crystals attached to the sides of the larger halite crystals.
