Mineral: Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Arizona
Description: Native American peoples inhabited Canyon de Chelly for nearly 5,000 years, and the area is dotted with prehistoric rock art. The rock spire pictured is named Spider rock and towers 800 feet above the floor of the canyon.
