I don’t think that there is much going on here besides the obvious apparent left handed Dauphiné twin. All other faces are just interpenetrated crystals that eventually absorbed by a faster growing cr ...

It’s hard to tell, but I’m not seeing actual concentric rings of Quartz, I do see the outer ring of crystal growth but the inner growth seems more randomized. That being said, I have several pieces of ...

Some epitaxial Quartz on albite over feldspar twins. Some muscovite is present as well as a thin coating of cookeite. From our mine in Northern California.
