At the moment, I would just say 'USA' as it needs more work to find out where it is from. There is some remains of the matrix on the rear which might help narrow it down. | |

Let's see if we can get the parts list and you can then build your own. Lego have said that once they have modified the design and created the instructions it will be official

Peter, try contacting Lego (r). I would love them to do some other minerals, such as Fluorite (almost any color), Galena, Japan law Quartz, etc

It is possibly fools gold (Pyrite) but the focus on the photos makes it very hard to tell. It could also be Chalcopyrite. This might help (it mentions neither mineral, Biotite Mica is a possibility) ... | |
