Looks like water worn calcite with long gone chips of other included "stuff" that has eroded out.

Put your specimen in household vinegar for several minutes and it should fizz. BOB

This appears to be calcite, but there are both white parts and brown parts in your photo. You can do several things to test it. Break a piece off and see whether it breaks into diamond-shaped pieces ...
