Pezzottaite
Pezzottaite is rhombohedral and it is not a Cs-rich beryl but a new mineral species closely related to beryl, with 15% Cs.
Morganite (a variety of beryl) tolerates a maximum of 3% Cs. Th ...

I am surprised by these hesitations.
It seems obvious to me that the morphology of this crystal and its appearance say that it is a tourmaline.
I think it is Malagasy.
The distinction between the 2 ...

Hello
Here is a very rare mineral, so much so that Mindat is unaware of its Mexican origin.
It is in Mexico that Henri Ungemach found it, but where?

Hello,
Sagenite is only a crystal habit of rutile, not even a variety.
That said, this habit is pretty and it does not appear on your specimens.

However, this Malagasy quartz contains an interesting inclusion: Pezzotaite.

About Miller's indices.
Crystal morphology is one aspect of the collection.
I love tourmalines, the most beautiful cation bins in mineralogy, because the structure is rather imposed by the anions.

Epidote / albite

Please give me your opinion.
