Euclase is known because it can mimic practically all.
I would suggest asking for an analysis.
Hardness of topaz is higher than euclase (8 to 7.5), but the density of euclase is lower than top ...

Maybe I am wrong, but Libyan glass is due to an impact and lechatelierite is due to electricity.
Not same in origin, although all being at end fused quartz...

It could be polished with many things, as James said.
But, even not been a sin, I think it looks far nicer as it is... At least from photo (and according to my taste, that should be said)
