One more very old tourmaline from Connecticut. Former collections of Hugh A. Ford, Dr. Fred Pough and Frank Knechtel. I still have the very nice hand written label that came with the piece. This was once in a ricker box with 5 other tourmalines. It was too bad they where broken up on Franks passing.

This Connecticut malachite is way better than any Bisbee tourmaline I have ever seen.

Les

What does a Bisbee tourmaline look like. You have never showed one to me. Mindat has some other CT malachite pictures. This one was from a collection started in the mid 1800's.

Bob,

My comment was meant as a joke. I do have a nice Bisbee fluorite, however.

A superb Chalcocite from Bristol, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA.

This wonderful specimen was exhibited in a show case of the Main Show of Tucson 2007 and Jack Halpern is the fortunate owner of it.
