I was so impressed with this young lady. She was walking around with her notebook and pencil and was with her Dad, but she wanted to look at the minerals at her own pace.
She was truly studying them and not breezing past. Possible Future Curator?

She is most assuredly a hope for the future of our mineral world!

I haven't looked at this thread in quite some time and just realized how wonderful this mineral museum area is. Wow. I feel the need to revisit !
I could spend a few days there, just taking it all in.
Every year I learn so much more and feel I would appreciate some things I by passed last time.

Love your image of the little girl seriously studying the specimens.... Hope she gets to meet someone who will take her under her/his wings.

For sure one needs to revisit every now and then to appreciate what one missed! And simply did not have enough knowledge to really appreciate to full extent the first time.
