Mark,

As you will visit it, a reportage from you of the Show (during or after it) would be very nice for all FMFers, and if with photos still better... ;-)

Do you have a stand there, Jordy? I would be very happy to see the master WHEN I'm going!

Hi,

Sorry it took so long, but I had my exams to worry about the past three weeks.

It was for me the first show that wasn't in the Netherlands, so I was pretty exited. I met one other guy from FMF, but he was on the Spanish side very active, he had also an account on the English side, but barely used it. This was also the first show, where it got through to me that it was big and where I needed to speak English and even German!
There was also a small 'chamber' where a small exhibition was about UV minerals and why the are fluorescent.
And there were to men in the determination stand, of course for determination of your own found rocks, if you couldn't get out yourself.
Also there was a small exhibition about calcite.

I noticed one thing here, the prices were extremely irregular. EXAMPLE: a piece of fluorite for €10,- and somewhere else the same size same locality €30,-.
So when I found a mineral that I was searching for, I continued searching, looking for a cheaper one (which there was!).

I you would like to ask something about this show, please ask.

Mark

Hi Maxilos!
Let me allow a correction: the proper name of the locality is MONTALTO DI CASTRO (with T and not with D), tell it to the exposer!
Greetings from Italy by Riccardo.

I had more images, but those were out of focus. Next time I'll definitely make more photo's.

I'll try to tell it to the collector.
