As I announced here we have created a new section named: Featured Columns of FMF that aims to be a kind of "VIP section" of FMF

Every day more new topics arrive in the Forum and their number could hide the few really valuable topics which will remain lost in a not so visible area. For this reason from now on the more interesting threads published in FMF (plus some old ones) will be upgraded to this new section Featured Columns of FMF

This new feature will function a little like a library, each featured topic will be numbered and will maintain the order even if new posts arrive. This means that every thread will be always located in its numbered position and the first creator of these threads will be listed here in this post, with a THANK YOU for the contribution toward trying to improve mineralogy.
Please note that FMF users cannot create new threads here but, yes, they can publish posts in the already created threads. Only the Forum administrators can create new threads in Featured Columns of FMF
