Hi to all

For a publication to come in a top German magazine, looking for (from professionnal/or known photographers) high resolution pics of OUTSTANDING specimens of Congolese carrollites of top aestetics, with exact labelling, sizes...

If possible from private/museum/university collections with no commercial links on specimens, not published before in the MR, Lapis and other major magazines... To be able to select 10-12 pictures would be great! So the more possibilities I have, the better!
If you have a top one and want it to be published (anonymously or with your collection/institution name), here is an opportunity!

The first draft should be submitted by the end of June. I have no specimen good enough for this kind of publication myself! If interested, please PM me!

Many Thanks

Valère Berlage

(you can send or illustrate lower resolution pics/details and exchange higher MB pics later

Hi Valere,

I think you know where the best Carrollites are.... :-)

It could be nice to publish a picture with all the best Carrollites from that museum together just to compare. Don't you think so?

Best

Arturo

Many Thanks for the few answers I already had! By the end of May, I will have to choose, illustrating the best specimens illustrating different habits and associations!

Arturo, Yes, 3 outstanding specimens located in two places in Luxemburg are on the list! Some more in a major unknown Belgian collection I will check this WE! (although not correctly photographed yet)
The ones I know in Belgian museum are not good enough.

Since many collections are hidden (in Belgium, some major collections are sometimes not at reach for a visit), and since one spectacular find was quicly dispersed mainly in Europe and America, I am sure many top specimens are completely unknown too me! This is why I threw the bottle in the sea!

All the best

Valere
