I would like to recommend a new book that covers the minerals of the Lake Superior Iron Ranges. The iron districts of Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Ontario are included. There is a general discussion of geology, lists of the minerals known from the iron ranges, brief sections devoted to each of the collectable minerals and many excellent photographs.

Very reasonably priced at $25. Published by the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum.
See their home page for ordering information. A review recently appeared in Mineral News.

Enjoy,

George Balogh

Thanks for sharing this, George. Looks like a very nice book, and the authors are well known and "respected".
