This is some of the finest mineral photography I've seen. How do you get such good depth of field such that every part of the specimen is in focus?

Ed (Turbo) - Thanks. Glad you like the images. Not every image is completely in focus. A lot are but there are many others that have just the main features sharp. I use a perspective control lens to get my difficult specimens in focus. It allows you to adjust the plane of focus to get more of your image sharp.

Your Jonas Mine elbaites are beautiful, especially the one pictured in the first photo.
If I might ask, what is the focal length of the PC lens that you use. Macro?
