This is my absolute favourite at the moment, a gemmy and bright deep green fluorite from Sweden. WOW. It is a floater also.
The colour is exquisite and the crystals are in great shape. This fits in nicely next to my pink fluorite collection.
Ex Peter Lyckberg collection.
( Thanks for finding this Peter!!! )

These pieces are all beautiful, and I can see why the bright green CaF2 is your favorite of the moment.
Keep 'em coming!

Ed Huskinson....well well, it is sooo nice to see you on FMF! You are always so delightful to chat with!
I am in Rochester, N.Y. at the moment, John White is here too and we had dinner with him last evening. He is such a joy to visit with.
Tobias, thanks.

Arbor Low,
Youlgreave, Derbyshire, England.
What a fabulous polished old piece. ( polished with ropes ) It is also known as oak stone.
Baryte.
The history of Arbor Low is fascinating as it is a henge that is eons old.
Anyhow, I really love this piece, it is very heavy and of good size.
Unfortunately, no other labels but the one I got from the dealer came with it. I will have to see if I can round up more info.
Size is 20 cm by 16 cm wide by 12 cm deep.

Wowie, your "oak stone" had made me speechless. I wonder where exactly in Arbor Low they had found this. Absolutely Fabulous!

Garchin, I have requested more info on that piece. I have researched the location and it is really intriguing. Seems to be an old henge similar in many ways to stonehenge. I will visit Arbrolow next time I visit England.
I have another piece being delivered, it came with the one above, and I haven't seen it but was assured it would be a nice companion to the large one. It has great "eyes" I was told. Can't wait to get it on Monday.

So, one "oakstone" Baryte isn't enough, so bought the Mini-Me from the Weinrichs. They took the photos I am attaching.
This is a much smaller piece, more of a miniature in size, but quite lovely.

Here's one I have shown before, but we had a new Jeff Scovil photo taken of it. I really love the deep rich colour.

I saw Bill Larson's famous "Snail" and got to touch it, but he was wise in that he wouldn't let me, or anyone else, hold it. When I saw this beauty for sale in Crystal Classics I quickly added it to my collection. Not quite up to par with Bill's famous piece, but it will do just fine!

Hi Gail
you have some truly amazing minerals, thank you for taking the time to share. I was also very impressed with the Ralph Clark label that came with that cute 79mine Hemimorphite.
Tay is sitting next to me and she said she likes them all, esp. the Aurichalcite and red Fluorite from Chamonix
best wishes and thank you
Jon and Tay
