Still slow, the Show is already prepared to host the visitors. All tents are full of nice rocks, some novelties (mostly Moroccan) are here, and the weather is extraordinary, not too hot not too cold and no rain is expected for the next few days.
The crowds will arrive and we are here, waiting for them! ;-)

Is very complicated arrive to write good texts about the Shows during the same Shows, so the comments about the number of attendees, the novelties I found, the general atmosphere, etcetera... all my main thoughts about Ste. Marie will be written after the Show, when I'm back to Barcelona and where I will have enough time as well as the necessary mind's clarity to reflect a so large number of experiences that a huge Show as Ste. Marie generates.
On the meantime let me just publish a series of images taken during the Show by myself, Jordi Deusedes and Francesc Fabre just to supply to the people whom will not attend the Show an informal vision of what is happens here.

An exhibition dedicated to the Alps was remarkable for its Masterpieces. See in alphabetical order...
Cafarsite is a calcium – iron – arsenite mineral. Manganese and titanium occur with iron.
The name is from the composition: Ca, Fe, As.

Malmberget (Lapland, Sweden) produced calcite crystals of exceptional quality. I will always remember an unbelievable group of twinned crystals exhibited at the Munich Show Expo, by Peter Lyckberg, there are 15 or 20 years ago (?).

Clinochlore, as indicated by the name, is a green mineral of the chlorites group.

Dufrenoysite is a lead thio-arsenide. All these Thiosalts (jordanite, dufrenoysite, rathite, sartorite, gratonite) were found in the stunning Binn Valley in Lengenbach (Valais - Switzerland).
