I know quite well what you say, Philippe :-((
Me too, it can sometimes be a struggle to take photos of shiny colourless crystals :-(

Tobi, Carles

I have a new version of my photo software with possibilities to correct the bad photographic conditions, colors, so on... (and yes it is possible to change completely the appearance of a specimen such as color...:()

I have reworked the last specimen photo to be as close to the real specimen.
I hope it is better

If you want a more precise locality information: This specimen is for sure from Ray Mine ( https://www.mindat.org/loc-3377.html ).

I disagree Tobi, it could be from several other localities including the Bisbee area

I know chrysocolla from the Bisbee area, but such specimens with quartz "nests" I only know as distinctive material from Ray Mine :-/

hello Jordi, and Tobi

If it could help you, I bought it nearly 20 years ago in Paris show, and these specimens were everywhere in the different booths; That means that a large batch was released, at this time.

Thank you both for your help in ocurrence identification.

Going back to the previous Chrysocolla, I must admit that it looks like the specimen that Tobi had posted on the Arizona mineralogical trip from Ray Mine
