Dave, yes, I can see how these would make nice micros also. I should clarify that while local collectors refer to this hematite as "iridescent", it's color does not change based on the angle of view, or the angle of light striking the specimen. The colors appear as vivid as those produced by iridescence, but are indeed idiochromatic. These specimens display well at any angle, as long as there is sufficient light to do them justice.
