| Thanks so far for the feedback. I am very happy that you like the pictures and minerals. I will post more soon. I first have to note the size of some of the specimens. I do not really care about size so far so I do not have the detailed data. More next week.

As I told I can only buy on my very limited budget. Here is a Rhodo from the sweethome Mine. The rest of the piece is not really a killer. But at least I was happy to get a reference sample. And the photo itself is a classic Sweet Home Mine shot.

This locality is rather rare today. I bought this when I was at the location in the early 1990ies with my dad. Now I am happy to have a sample at all.

Neptunite with Benitoite in combination are rather highly prized. I was able to get this for a real good price I think. A nice reference sample.

| Those look like sharp gemmy benitoites. Good deal. Do you have any Joaquinite on the piece too? It looks like maybe there may be a few little amber pseudo cubes in the pict.

No as far as I have seen there is only Neptunite with Benitoite on it. Here is closeup of the Benitoite - size of the crystal is about 3-4mm.

Wow Jay! Both of these pieces (the crocoites) are wonderful, just wonderful. I would be honored to own either one. I've tried and tried, but have yet to run across a crocoite of this caliber that is still available. Congratulations!!
And the photos are top notch. I'm still a neophyte when it comes to taking pictures of my rocks. You are well along in that regard.

Here is a new piece I aquired yesterday.
Fluorite on Aresenopyrite with Quartz. I think this is a really lovely piece.Was not really
cheap but I have not seen a combo like this before.
