Since you seem to be enthused, I suggest learning a bit about what you are finding. Your first picture was druzy quartz, your last picture was calcite.

Vinegar is 5% acetic acid. This acid and hydrochloric acid (can be bought as muriatic acid) rapidly react with calcite by fizzing. If your example fizzes, which it will, then you have calcite. BOB

Thanks for the suggestion and info BOB. Isnt that what I'm doing is learning. I know I'm new to this but I'm getting all the knowledge I can from many different sources.
