For many months now this job has become too much for me and so I couldn’t multiply my efforts. Mineral shows, the Internet web site and related sales, the purchasing and preparation of specimens from around the world, and this Forum were draining me. In addition, my brother Francesc, who is working with the technological-photographic Fabre Minerals department, will well-deservedly retire in June, 2009. It was necessary to start thinking about his replacement. So, following the good advice of those who know me well, I started looking for someone who could help us.

Though I wanted to wait a bit, circumstances dictated otherwise and Joan Rosell, Master in Chemistry, co-editor of the excellent mineral magazine Mineral Up, very active member of the Catalan Mineralogical Association and enthusiastic mineralogist, has committed the "mistake of his life” in accepting the offer to work for Fabre Minerals ;-)

As of Monday December 17th, Joan already belongs to our team. I am sure that his presence will contribute in many aspects, as all our forum visitors will see, as well as those who talk with him in our warehouse or at the Mineral Shows. Next appointment: Tucson 2008

Thank you Joan!

PostPosted: Dec 19, 2007 07:44    Post subject: I start to work for Fabre Minerals

From last Monday I have entered a new labor stage in my life by joining Jordi Fabre's team. Illusion and an adventurous spirit have contributed in my decision to take this great leap forward. For several years now I have seen Jordi Fabre's stand at the most prestigious fairs and I have also navigated his web page... (and some minerals were captured by me). This time I was captured myself!.

I expect to learn very much working with the professionals of Fabre Minerals and I would like to be able to contribute with my knowledge and abilities. Also I will try to earn your confidence and that is why you have me at your total disposal. Those who already know me, we continue in the same way... or maybe even a little bit more ;-)

Now to wake up in the morning makes much more sense for me than before, working in an other job!!!
