Sure,
- Tourmaline with flourite is about 6cm. Afganistán.
- Garnet on Muscovite, 7cm. Tanzania.
- Green Tourmaline, 8,5cm. Pederneira Mine, Brasil.

Thanks for the kind words. I was fortunate to have the dealer hold this piece for me till I got to Denver. I had been looking for a specimen for quite some time, and never imagined that I would end up with such an amazing cluster.

I know this thread is really old, but hey! let's see if we can reignite it.
I bought this piece last year. I looked through four flats of yellow fluorite from Aouli,Morocco to find it. I spent about ten minutes scouring through them. They were all rather nice but nothing really wowed me. then, in the final flat a glint of orange caught my eye across the sea of yellow. I picked it up and examined it. It was a group of pristine, translucent crystals growing on a bed of orange chalcedony.
I bought it straight away for only £4.80
it isn't particularly rare or special but it always makes me smile when I look at it.

That tutorial is really professional and demands some time and a special editing software. I think you could improve your fluorite photo much more basically: Just take a background that has one colour (try white and black) and use your camera in a way that the photo is not that fuzzy but more focused (maybe more light and moer distance between specimen and camera). Good luck, I hope to see the fine fluorite literally in a new light :-)
Here are some examples from my collection that prove that you don't necessarily need special software to make quite good mineral photos. The following pictures were made only with a simple digital camera, white paper or black fabric as background, natural light from above and some minor post-editing to enhance the contrast or to regulate the colour (often too pale on the photo) to make it look like the original specimen.
If it doesn't work, don't give up! Shooting minerals is a process of trial and error ... with many errors ;-) The following photos are my best ones, most of them took me many attempts. And, believe it or not when you look at these rather good photos, there are still some specimens in my collection that I never managed to shoot, only crappy photos exist that make those minerals look much worse than they are. Nevertheless, even a rather untalented phototographer like me with a simple 150 € Canon camera, the most simple software (Microsoft Office Picture Manager) and without any further equipment (no lamps, no mirrors, just using daylight from above) sometimes has the fortune of getting some shots like this:
