Cool, Steve, inspired by Pederneira Mine? ;-)
Size? Material?

Hi Tobi. Sorry, I should have said. It is reminiscent of Pederneira tourmalines. But it is strictly hand-drawn from my imagination!

A4 size black paper (140gsm). I used Posca pens (black, white, blue and green) and a couple of Derwent Graphik waterbased pigment painter pens.

I would buy it, it looks great. With no scale and background it gets your imagination going, almost other wordly... "Twilight of the Tourmaline Forest".

My latest piece. Pyrite from Navajun, Spain.

Posca Pens, Monte Marte Art Markers, andWindsor and Newton Promarkers on coloured card.

The largest cube (in the artwork, not the specimen!) measures 65mm across.

Original artwork give-away! Will be drawn in about a week or so.

Each and every Patron will automatically go into a draw for this Steve Sorrell original artwork, pyromorphite from the Kintore Open Cut, Broken Hill, New South Wales. Gel pen, coloured pencil and watercolour. Width of painted area is about 130mm.

If you are not yet a Patreon Patron, you can enter the draw by subscribing before the close.
