Hello Tobi, From what I can see on Mindat, it looks like "St. Michaelis Mine" is actually a number of different shafts and adits?

As far as I know it was an aggregation of several mines and adits, yes. In German it has the the name "Fundgrube" instead of "Grube" which means that is once was a whole mining claim and not a single mine.

Thank you for the translation. I saw that word, but it is often hard to find English translations of German compound nouns. I look up the parts and get "Find Mine." This makes sense! I now have a new word as well as a new specimen.
