PostPosted: Dec 07, 2018 12:20    Post subject: Identification... Nothing's adding Up!!!! Please Help

First of all, Thank you so much for your time..

My research, being of a more comprehensive study of erosion, underground stream, and soil and mineral properties, took a peculiar turn when I began to find unusual mineral forms that differentiated greatly from the surrounding areas in Previous years.. Further, due to a mass concensus of conflicting data I find myself at the mercy of waiting for chemical testing and unexplainable frustration with the " un" field specialists and or educators.

Minerals in question.. Primarily metal.

Metal, non magnetic, cluster form, high tollerance to corossion, when heated greater than 2700 seems to decompose, knife does not scratch it, non responsive to acids (even muratic) light weight. Will attach photos with associated mineral forms in limited area

Possibly Important?? When tested on high quality jeweler a test, shows positive for diamond and positive on moissanite test

I'll leave this brief, but please ref photos... Thanks again. Amanda

I would guess man made silicon carbide(carborundum). occurring in nature as moissanite(from outer space). should be able to scratch any thing with it except diamonds.
