Hi I recently aquire this skull I know it is made out of quartz. But not sure what kind.can someone identify what kind of quartz is this?

It most likely is quartz, but may be calcite???
Personally, I find those kind of "creations" seen at some "rock" shows rather offensive. I doubt your posting will get much attention on this mineralogical website. BOB

Well, it is greenish-yellow quartz, I'm not sure what else to say. Such a color would be a variant of citrine, but most likely with this color, the quartz was probably originally amethyst (varying from purple to just white), and then was heat-treated, which changes the amethyst color to citrine. That's what seems most likely.

Thank you Pete for your info. Some say citrine and some says smoky citrine. That's why I wanted to ask experts on here . I appreciate it .

I am not exactly familiar with what people might call "smoky citrine", but that sounds like a good name for the color of this material.
