Hi to everybody!
It could also be an opal! I have a fluorescent opal and the fluorescence color is the same as this specimen.
Greetings from Italy by Riccardo.

Hi Riccardo,

I am glad to know that opal does really fluoresce under UV light. I really like the plain or common opal. Bonus if it 'glows'! I'll know more on my piece when I can test with the Geiger counter. Laura

Please compare the photo in this link to your glass chunk. Some are denser. Only due to more exact color. I have same that fluoresces. Not sure about the radio active levels in the vintage glass. Fiesta red pottery was unsafe to use.

Hello again!

I do think it could be this company. I am learning the history of these operations now.

The Fiesta was cited by name on the EPA site not to use. I don't know much about that type. Except, that it is very popular and has been for several years.

Fiesta Ware is a very popular brand of glazed pottery. The one color was "very bad" and removed from market. Product was re-introduced to market some years ago. I not further comment due to not being forum related.
