PostPosted: Apr 07, 2019 13:29    Post subject: Marburg Museum 2019 - a tour with friends

Today I started my annual journey to the Marburg Museum - and I was not alone: Some colleagues who are interested in minerals went with me because they never visited our wonderful museum before. Nadine, of them, is a passionate photographer and managed to do many wonderful photos though the lighting in the museum is challenging ;-)

Here we go:

Very nice museum, and beautiful specimens! I'm not sure if theirs is from here, but manganese dendrites that look very similar came from quarries around Solnhofen, Germany.

Hi Kevin, I know it looks like a typical Solnhofen specimen, but I don't remember for sure and the label on the photo is too fuzzy ;-)
