You pointed it out:
Galena as sublimation product from the burning coal dump near Katerina Mine, Radvanice.

How i mentioned before anthropogenic origin but not man made……

I am still very very sure that Mathias' specimen is from this unique occurence…..
What makes it so special for me is the matrix:
Normally we see floaters only . Or relativly small crystals on matrix but with poor developed skeletal growth. So i would say this great galena is a big and very fine rarity !

As mentioned, this is galena from a smelter. Very similar pieces are known from the Clausthal silver smelter in the Harz mountains.
