A very interesting Urubu specimen. I have seen a lot of them and once had one in my collection, but most of them were former elbaite crystals "filled" with quartz and just a small remaining layer of green tourmaline on the outside, most of them had no real termination and looked rather weathered. But a specimen of elbaite with terminated quartz crystals as upper half is really unusual. Great specimen!

That tetrahedrite from Huayllapon Mine looks interesting, I like the pattern and the iridescent colours. Are there many smaller tetrahedrites growing on the crystal?

There appears to be at least one very small tetrahedrite crystal on the face of the main crystal. There are other small crystals that look like they could be galena.

Thanks Tobi! This came out of an old collection and there was one other smaller piece that was nice but did not have the color that this one has.
