Thank you Philippe. I bought it in Chamonix some years ago where by the way you can visit the beautiful crystal museum (musée des cristaux).
Have a nice week-end hopefully with lower temperature.

The first two minerals I bought three years ago when I started my collection. A small article in the local newspaper, nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon and... caught by the virus (translation of a french expression. I hope it makes sense in English).
A third photo with a combination of several minerals.

Wow, the sulphur from Sicily seems to have really large crystals. When this specimen measures 11 cm, the largest crystal is about 4 or 5 cm, right? As I said before: Wow :-)

Thank you Tobi. Yes, the largest is 4 cm. I was very lucky to purchase this specimen when I began my collection. As we say in french "beginner's luck".
Have a nice evening.

I think you can specify the information on that specimen: The exact locality for the famous cavansite balls is Wagholi Quarries, Wagholi, Pune District, Maharashtra, India - and the pale mineral on the matrix is stilbite (-Ca) :-)
